Deadline for filing/paying your 2019 City income tax returns has been extended until July 15th.
You may bring in or drop off your Federal 1040, with supporting schedules and W2’s, as well as mailing,
faxing to (330)386-7865 or emailing to [email protected]
Payments can now be dropped off or you may still mail it in with check or money order, over the phone 1-800-272-9829 with a credit/debit card, (jurisdiction code: 8458) or online at with credit/debit card or e-check.
If you received a letter for past due balances or unfiled income tax returns, you need to contact this office to make arrangements ASAP.

The City Income Tax Office is responsible for the collection of city taxes including:
Income tax (1.5%)
Hotel/Motel tax (3%)
Bed tax (3%)

It is MANDATORY for ALL residents, resident businesses, non-residents working in the city and non-resident businesses doing any business in the city, to file annual income tax returns regardless of income/loss.                                                         Mandatory filing was enacted in 1989.  Rates, 1.5%, are based on: gross income from wages, net-profit from business and net profit from rental income.                                                                                                                                                                                                   Retired persons, 65 and older, with NO TAXABLE income are NOT required to file.
